Ryan Singh
Meet Ryan, he is the founder & owner of Recharge Sports Therapy.
He works with a wide range of individuals, ranging from Hollywood actors (from titles such as John Wick, Ice Age, Stranger Things, and Marvel Movies), professional athletes, weekend warriors and everyone in between. Ryan utilizes a comprehensive approach when designing his rehabilitation programs for his patients to ensure the most efficient treatment. He has experience working with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Bison Football Team, Winnipeg Rifles Team, and many other teams. He was involved in the Canada Summer Games, USports Mens Volleyball, University of Manitoba Strength & Conditioning, and has significant strength and conditioning experience. Aside from teams, Ryan works with everyone ranging from youth, to the aging population.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys competitive bodybuilding, cycling, snowboarding/skiing, & playing basketball.

Brandon Vidal
Meet Brandon, a Physiotherapist at Recharge.
Brandon graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. While playing competitive basketball for more than 10 years - including three years of college basketball at the University of Winnipeg – Brandon developed a keen interest in physical therapy. Brandon furthered his education and obtained his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba.
Brandon is passionate about helping others achieve their individual goals, and is a strong believer in using an active treatment approach including exercise, manual therapy and education. Brandon believes in lifelong learning and plans to further continue his education by certifying in acupuncture, taking vestibular rehab courses, and advanced manual therapy courses. Brandon focuses on living an active and healthy lifestyle by playing basketball, tennis and working out at the gym

Brenden has extensive experience as an Athletic Therapist. He worked with many professional athletes and the general population, successfully rehabilitating their injuries and bringing his clients to the next level, accomplishing their goals.

Paul Lubi
Meet Paul, an Athletic Therapist at Recharge.
He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology majoring in Athletic Therapy in June 2018, and certified in 2018. Throughout his university career, Paul has garnered over 1200 hours of clinical and field experience through his practicums with a variety of clinics across the city and at the University of Manitoba, university-level sports teams as well as high-school level sports teams mainly consisting of football, basketball, and soccer. Paul is a determined, motivated, and driven individual who is passionate about helping his patients overcome their diagnosis and help provide the confidence and robustness needed to return to activities of daily living/return to sport/return to work while providing pain relief and recovery. Aside from the clinic, Paul enjoys providing field Athletic Therapy Services during the spring and summer seasons for a variety of sports.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys the outdoors, travelling, motorcycles, cars, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Shae Carriere
Meet Shae, a Registered Massage Therapist at Recharge.
Shae is a Registered Massage Therapist who brings multiple techniques to the treatment room such as such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, sports massage (pre and post event), joint mobilization, deep tissue, PNF stretching, and trigger point therapy. Shae is trained in orthopaedic assessment and remedial exercise
Shae has had the pleasure of working with the Winnipeg Blue Bomber athletes and is excited to bring the knowledge she gained doing so to her treatments. As an athlete growing up Shae understands the importance of feeling your best during competition and is looking forward to being able to help others perform to their maximum capacity.
In her spare time Shae coaches Smitty’s Terminators U13 AAA fast pitch and also plays in a senior woman’s fast pitch league as a pitcher. She enjoys hiking, reading, spending time outdoors, and also makes beaded earrings.

Jackson Li

Dawn Lu
Meet Dawn, An Acupuncturist at Recharge!
Dawn graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and practiced for one year and a half at the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese (TCM) during my clinical practicum. She has been actively practicing TCM for several years and a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist, Practitioner, Herbalist, and a member of the Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Association of Canada (CMAAC) and MPAA (Manitoba Professional Acupuncture Association)
She is dedicated to learning and expanding knowledge in the TCM field. She specializes in a pain management, in addition to treating weight loss, anxiety, insomnia, injuries, and overall health. She performs treatment with, acupuncture, cupping, acupressure massage, ear acupuncture, herbal medicine, miniren acupuncture and Pediatric Massage.
She deeply cares about her patients progress and well-being and is dedicated to ensuring that they receive the
best care possible.
In her spare time she love travelling, cycling, reading, and watching movies

Tony Wang
Meet Tong, An Acupuncturist at Recharge!
Tong is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP) and graduate of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture College of Manitoba. He is an active member of CMAAC.
TCM recognizes that individuals are unique and functions to facilitate the free flow of Qi by correcting imbalances in order to resolve the root cause of dysfunction. Tong utilizes a combination of Traditional pulse assessment, acupuncture, cupping, bloodletting, moxibustion to help with pain, allergies, headaches and migraines, facial paralysis, digestion, infertility, menstrual concerns, weight loss, and hair loss.

Dr. Mehrdad Sadeghi
Dr Mehrdad Sadeghi is a Canadian Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor who graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine CCNM in Toronto.
He is also a registered member of the Manitoba Naturopathic Association. Before coming to Canada, he practiced conventional medicine in the middle east and eastern Europe for more than 20 years. He has a special interest in Men and women's health, infertility, ED, Urinary incontinence, metabolic and immune system disorder, digestive issues, allergy, insomnia, anxiety, chronic fatigue ,and Supportive care/Symptom management for patients with

Nolan Turnbull
Meet Nolan, The Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Recharge
He successfully completed his Master of Science (Kinesiology and Recreation Management) at the University of Manitoba studying women's heart health and frailty. Nolan spent his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Acadia focusing on helping those inflicted with chronic disease. During this time, Nolan assisted Fountain of Health™ as the Project Coordinator for a PILOT study relating to primary health care. Nolan has continued his goal of improving quality of life in Canada as he continues his studies and clinical practice. Nolan has experience with high performance athletes, those who have a history of heart attacks, strokes, neuromuscular conditions, arthritis, respiratory conditions, and other chronic conditions. He is devoted to creating better outcomes for people in Canada across their lifespan.
In his spare time, he enjoys caring for his reptiles, spending time with his friends and family, and staying active in the gym

Maddison Howanyk
Meet Maddy A Health & Fitness Specialist at Recharge!
Some of you may recognize Maddy as he use to shadow at Recharge Sports Therapy in the past, and he his back working as A Health and Fitness Specialist. Maddy is currently in his 5th and final year of his exercise science degree at the University of Winnipeg. After graduating Maddy plans on attending George Brown University in Toronto to receive his certification in clinical methods of prosthetics and orthotics. Maddy has been the coach of the West Kildonan Collegiate varsity boys volleyball team for the past four seasons, where he also use to previously play.
In his free time Maddy plays co-ed volleyball and soccer to keep himself active throughout the entire year.

Kevin Nicholson
Meet Kevin! A Health and Fitness specialist at Recharge.
Kevin is currently enrolled in his 4th year at the University of Winnipeg in the Athletic Therapy program, building off of a Bachelor of Physical Education (Hons.) previously obtained from Brock University.
With his diverse experience, coupled with Kevin's involvement in athletics as a soccer player for 10 years, he can provide a unique perspective of both trainer and athlete. With this duality of perspectives, Kevin yields the ability to understand the day-to-day needs of his clients in a fluid manner. This can be observed through his work during sport-specific rehabilitation scenarios and his knack for addressing the non-physical needs of his athletes as trusted sideline support.
In Kevin's time away from the field, he enjoys engaging in parkour, pool, and gaming, with hopes of coupling his profession and passion in the Esports industry.

Miral Ahmed
Meet Miral, a Health and Fitness Specialist at Recharge.
Miral is a 2019 graduate of the B.Kin program at the University of Manitoba. Throughout her studies, she has worked with MSK injuries, rehabilitation/recovery, and research. She is
excited to be a member of the Recharge team!

Karine Boucher
Meet Karine, an Assistant Therapist at Recharge.
Karine recently transferred from the Kinesiology program at Laurentian University into the Athletic Therapy program at the University of Manitoba. She has always been very involved in sports such as gymnastics, alpine skiing, cross country, aerobics, dance, squash and especially badminton. This varied experience gives her a good understanding on the biomechanics of many sports when it comes to rehabilitation. Karine has had a passion for helping others from a young age, volunteering in hospitals, old age homes, and churches around her community. This devotion also guides her actions at Recharge Sports Therapy when helping patients overcome their injuries.
In her spare time, Karine loves to play badminton to stay active, read, play piano and spend time with her friends and family.

Jaclyn Wiebe
Meet Jackie! An Assistant Therapist at Recharge.
Coming from the west coast Jaclyn is a Trinity Western University alum and a recent graduate from the University of Winnipeg Kinesiology program. Growing up she has always been involved in competitive sports such as gymnastics, track, cheerleading, horseback riding, and dance. In the past she has worked with all age groups from toddlers to seniors. Instructing fitness classes, dance lessons, and assisting with multiple other sports. With her Kinesiology degree and knowledge she hopes to work programming sports events and instruct back out west or even going abroad!
In her free time she likes to travel, dance, snowboard, wakeboard, design weddings, and spend time on the lake in the summer.
