Meet Ryan (Athletic Therapist), he is the founder & owner of Recharge Sports Therapy.
He works with a wide range of individuals, ranging from Hollywood actors (from titles such as John Wick, Ice Age) professional athletes, weekend warriors and everyone in between. Ryan utilizes a comprehensive approach when designing his rehabilitation programs for his patients to ensure the most efficient treatment. He has experience working with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Bison Football Team, Winnipeg Rifles Team, and many other teams. He was involved in the Canada Summer Games, USports Mens Volleyball, University of Manitoba Strength & Conditioning, and has significant strength and conditioning experience. Aside from teams, Ryan works with everyone ranging from youth, to the aging population.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys competitive bodybuilding, cycling, & spending time with family and friends.
Meet Brandon, a Physiotherapist at Recharge.
Brandon graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. While playing competitive basketball for more than 10 years - including three years of college basketball at the University of Winnipeg – Brandon developed a keen interest in physical therapy. Brandon furthered his education and obtained his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba.
Brandon is passionate about helping others achieve their individual goals, and is a strong believer in using an active treatment approach including exercise, manual therapy and education. Brandon believes in lifelong learning and plans to further continue his education by certifying in acupuncture, taking vestibular rehab courses, and advanced manual therapy courses. Brandon focuses on living an active and healthy lifestyle by playing basketball, tennis and working out at the gym
Meet Paul, an Athletic Therapist at Recharge.
He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology majoring in Athletic Therapy in June 2018, and certified in 2018. Throughout his university career, Paul has garnered over 1200 hours of clinical and field experience through his practicums with a variety of clinics across the city and at the University of Manitoba, university-level sports teams as well as high-school level sports teams mainly consisting of football, basketball, and soccer. Paul is a determined, motivated, and driven individual who is passionate about helping his patients overcome their diagnosis and help provide the confidence and robustness needed to return to activities of daily living/return to sport/return to work while providing pain relief and recovery. Aside from the clinic, Paul enjoys providing field Athletic Therapy Services during the spring and summer seasons for a variety of sports.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys the outdoors, travelling, motorcycles, cars, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Meet Claire, a Massage Therapist at Recharge. She is a Massage Therapist who graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage therapy. With 2200 hours, she has gained knowledge in osteopathic based assessment, treatment, and being able to create a personalized treatment plan for each of her client’s needs.
Over the past two years of education, she has found a great interest in pelvis, knee, and ankle conditions as well as the neck. Claire strongly believes in finding the root of the problem and being able to help you long-term so you are able to do the activities you enjoy most.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys staying active in the gym, going for walks with her dog, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Meet Nolan, The Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Recharge
He is pursuing his Master of Science (Kinesiology and Recreation Management) at the University of Manitoba studying womens heart health and frailty. Nolan spent his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Acadia focusing on helping those inflicted with chronic disease. During this time, Nolan assisted Fountain of Health™ as the Project Coordinator for a PILOT study relating to primary health care. Nolan has continued his goal of improving quality of life in Canada as he continues his studies and clinical practice. Nolan has experience with high performance athletes, those who have a history of heart attacks, strokes, neuromuscular conditions, arthritis, respiratory conditions, and other chronic conditions. He is devoted to creating better outcomes for people in Canada across their lifespan.
In his spare time, he enjoys caring for his reptiles, spending time with his friends and family, and staying active in the gym
Health & Fitness Specialists
Taylor received a division 1 soccer scholarship and attended the University of Texas at El Paso and where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of science (Kinesiology). In 2018, she decided to go back to school at the University of Winnipeg and attend the athletic therapy program in hopes of becoming a certified Athletic Therapist in the future! Throughout Taylors soccer career she dealt with injuries and rehabilitation herself, which is what led her to find a passion in athletic therapy.
Taylor has been passionate about health and fitness for many years! She is a certified trainer and coach. Taylor also loves training athletes of all levels and helping them reach their goals and get to the next level.
In her spare time she likes playing soccer, working out, listening to music, and learning about climate change/global warming!
Meet Miguel, A Health & Fitness Specialists at Recharge 💪
Miguel is currently attending the athletic therapy program at the University of Winnipeg in hopes to
achieve his goal of becoming a certified Athletic Therapist in the future. He is a determined and
motivated individual that has always been intrigued by the human body and how it plays such a
significant and vital role in our everyday lives. His passion for sports and science, specifically human
anatomy and physiology, are both contributors that inspired him to focus and dedicate his education on
injury prevention, strength & conditioning, and rehabilitation of patients. Aside from the clinic, Miguel volunteers in coaching basketball varsity teams at the highschool level. 🔥
In his spare time, Miguel likes to workout, play basketball, go boxing, play the guitar, and spend quality time with family and friends.💥
Meet Carter, a Health and Fitness Specialist at Recharge.
Carter is currently undergoing a Athletic Therapy degree at the University of Winnipeg, with the plan to certify as an Athletic Therapist after graduation. His passion for Athletic Therapy stems from his love of sports and helping people. The best part of Athletic Therapy to Carter is helping people get back to doing the things they love!
In his spare time, Carter enjoys playing basketball, working out, and walking his dog.
Meet Reed, A Personal Trainer at Recharge
Reed is pursuing the Athletic Therapy field in the future. He participates in as many athletics as he possibly can to keep him busy. He plays football for the local East Side Eagles where he was voted the MVP in the league finals and voted Special Teams Player of the Year. He also plays Baseball where he was voted as AA baseball player of the year. Additionally, he is an active fisher, golfer, frequently weight trains and plays hockey recreationally on the weekends. He can also talk about sports for hours with you if you give him the chance and likes to treat every patient with the utmost care.
